ARTIST BIO: CHRIS WALLING, a native of the New Jersey Shore Area, has been painting since early childhood. She majored in Fine Art at Brookdale Community College. She won 1st Prize in their Annual FIne Art Show in 1972. She expanded her horizons by traveling and painting throughout Europe. In 1972 she won 1st Prize in the Mountain Lake Art Show in New Jersey. In 1970 won 2nd Place in Tampa, Florida. In 1974 had a One Man Show in Red Bank, New Jersey and in 1969, a One Man Show in Atlantic City. Chris works in all media with unlimited subjects, but concentrates mainly on oil paintings, india ink drawings and lithographs of things that are familiar to her.
